To find your own natural grip style,you will simply want to stand up straight,with your arms and hands hanging down by your side,look down and see how many knuckles you see(strange i know).For a majority of golfers it will be two,however this is not set in stone as it can also be three.
For the next part of the analysis,grab one of your clubs,it doesn’t matter which one and take a grip on it….ok here is the twist remember how many knuckles were showing when your hands were hanging down?.make sure you have the same amount visible now.
When you can achieve this on a regular basis this will be your natural golf grip.Now i am not saying this will feel natural to you,especially if you are used to one particular grip action.For the purpose of this exercise you are trying to guarantee your grip is correct,this will ensure that your club is squared up at the moment of impact to keep your ball central in the fairway,rather than making the squirrels run for cover!.
