Jason asked:

What is the best driver tip??. I hate to disappoint you but there are many great golf driver tips that could be the key to unlocking monster drives for you. Golf swing mechanics, bla bla bla….

If I got the opportunity to write a golf driver tip for a golf magazine I would say something against the norm. Like, something golf instructors would not want to hear. Do you want to know what it is? It’s not some quick fix, because they never work long-term. The “only” thing that works long-term is working on you.

The fact is hitting more balls and taking more lessons will not make you hit the golf ball further.. It take an increase in clubhead speed to hit the golf ball further. You body is set a it’s current level of physical ability.

The only thing that can improve clubhead speed is strengthening your core rotational strength and flexibility. Your core is the engine to your swing. A weak or inflexible core will not give you the results you are looking for.

The ticket to longer drives is…?? The golf swings turn back and turn through. Make it simple, improve your body’s ability to rotate quicker and more powerfully.

There are many simple, yet effective core rotational exercises you can do in your home, or even office to greatly improve your clubhead speed and driving distance.

Do you want an easy one you can do right in your chair?

Cross your arms in front of your chest. Sit up tall and erect. With a fixed head position, rotate to the right and left slowly. See how far you can go. Do this without stopping. As you feel a loosening of the core, start to rotate faster and faster. Do this 20 or 30 times when you think about it and I guarantee you’ll feel it.

Now, for maximum drive distance, you might want to check out ”The Five Keys To Distance” by Eric Jones, World Long Drive Champion. You will be able to use the strength you gain from the tip above, and the guidance from Eric to make the golf ball explode of the driver face each and every-time.

For other golf related guides please check out the products section at GolferGuidance.com.
Helen Hecker asked:

Yes it’s hard to believe but there are more than 27 million golfers in the world today. It’s important to remember, your golf swing is what drives your score; not your clubs or ball. Many golfers play golf just to hack around and have some fun; more avid players are always looking for ways to improve their golf swing and their overall game.

It’s been proven that thinking positively about bettering your golf game will benefit you more than playing to compete with your partners and trying to win for winnings sake. Visualize where you would like the ball to land, as you swing. Overall, you generally want to play golf with confidence.

Swing slowly and steadily using a nice rhythm. Trust your golf club to do the job it was intended to do. Accomplished golfers purposely use sidespin to steer their ball around obstacles or towards the safe side of fairways and greens. When you swing if you have problems with your left knee buckling, imagine you’re holding a soccer ball between your knees.

The backswing is a rotation to the right, consisting of a shifting of the player’s body weight to the right side, a turning of the pelvis and shoulders, lifting of the arms and flexing of the elbows and wrists. As the body matures, the ability to rotate the upper torso is affected by age, and the hand action can also slow down requiring a slightly stronger grip.

Sidespin occurs when the clubface is not aligned perpendicularly to the plane of swing. Use the basic ‘hitchhiker’ position when you’re working on your backswing. Before you swing, make sure you’re relaxed; contract all your muscles tightly for a moment and then relax them.

Make sure to use the proper technique. At the end of a swing, the weight has shifted almost entirely to the left foot, the body is fully turned to the left and the hands are above the left shoulder with the club hanging down over the players’ back.

Once you understand that you can change your swing by using a simple technique, you’ll never underestimate golf fitness again. You can get rid of shoulder problems with some simple techniques. It’s no secret; most of the professional players actively participate in workouts.

Ask an expert, who is not associated with the shop you would buy your golf swing aid from, for advice on the right aid for you. Most of all don’t waste your money on a golf swing aid you don’t need or will never use. Be careful about the claims on TV commercials and magazine ads; seek expert advice before you buy because they may not live up to their claims.

Golf swing aids can be found online and are often cheaper. If you’re looking for an aid to improve your stance they’re not hard to find. There are a wide range of golf swing aids on the market today to help the beginning and advanced golfer.

Keep in mind that with some golf swing aids, you may still need advice or help from an expert. Overall, investing in golf swing aids will greatly improve your golf swing and your golf game. Golf swing aids come in all shapes and sizes including apparel type accessories to correct alignment or a golf club add-on accessory to monitor your swing.

Whether you’re a seasoned golfer or just starting out, pick just one golf swing aid and go to work on your swing. You can find golf swing aids that will help you with your wrist and arm position.

Get some golf DVDs and commit yourself to a time to practice what you learn. Take as many private lessons as you can afford with a good golf pro. Golfers can never get enough golf tips.

Braided Fishing Line

Jitender Zaman asked:

The toughest club in the bag to hit well regularly is the driver. The reason for this is that the margin for error is much smaller so it becomes very important to develop solid swing mechanics that you can repeat consistently. Here are some things you should keep in mind in order to improve your driving ability.

Tip 1: Focus on accuracy first

Instead of trying to put all your muscle power and energy into every drive, focus first on hitting your drives straight. Remember that an accurate drive will almost always go farther than a crooked drive.

Hitting a golf ball well consistently will require that you learn and master the basic golf swing mechanics. A good swing tip to keep in mind is that your back swing should be slow and deliberate. Most amateurs seem to put more energy in their back swing than their downswing. Slow down your back swing and you should notice an immediate improvement in ball striking.

Tip 2: Create an effortless swing: stop trying so hard

How is it that on the PGA tour you see so many thin players hitting the ball extremely far? It is not because they are extremely powerful but rather they learned to let the club do the majority of the work when it comes to hitting the golf ball.

Remember that a golf club is designed to hit the ball far and straight, all you need to do is support the club through your swing and let it do the work. You should not be tired after each swing or feel any kind of exhaustion because if you do then you are probably trying too hard.

Tip 3: Feel the club head as you swing

Most amateur players tend to grip the club very tightly and this will diminish your ability to feel the club head. A slightly looser grip will make it easier to create more club head speed since it will be easier to generate greater lag. Lag refers to the size of the angle made by the club and your left hand during the downswing. The smaller this angle is as you are about to hit the ball the more lag you create and the more energy is released at impact.

Tips 4: Tee the ball the correct height

Many players either tee the golf ball too high or low and end up hitting their drives at the wrong launch angle which results in a loss of distance. The ideal tee height will have half the golf ball above the top edge of your driver. This ensures that your drives will get launched at an optimal angle and with the right kind of spin.

Tip 5: Use the right kind of driver

The correct driver choice for your swing type can make a significant difference to your drives. If your club head speed is over 100 mph then make sure that the shaft of your driver has a stiff flex and also you need a lower lofted club, usually around 8 degrees or so. If your club head speed is under that then go for a driver with a regular flex and a higher loft, usually around 10 to 12 degrees.

Tip 6: Maintain good balance

Balance is very important in the golf swing and you need to make sure that every swing you take ends in a comfortable balanced position. Trying to force the driver in an effort to get more distance will normally cause you to lose balance so back off a bit.

The interesting thing is that the less muscular effort you put in the farther and straighter the ball will usually go. Make sure to complete each golf swing with in a balanced position looking towards the target and also have the club pointing towards the target after you complete the backswing.

There are a lot of steps to keep in mind and learn when it comes to hitting the driver better. Learn one thing at a time, be consistent with your practice routines and in time you are sure to hit those drives more accurately and farther down the fairway.

Bamboo Steamers

Jewel Kessler asked:

To play better golf, you need to build and practice a consistent swing that you trust. Forget the right forearm and the left hip. Forget pushing, pulling, and rotating. Make your game as simple and repeatable as possible. Focus solely on doing what is necessary for you to square the club to the target line at impact.

To square your club to the target line at impact, the following four ingredients are a must:

Good grip

The proper set up

The right swing speed

Gaining a feel for the swing

The first two ingredients are easy if you don’t already have them. A good pro at your club can give them to you in a few minutes.

The second two are tougher, because your mind creeps in and create errors, especially after bad shots. A common cause of errors in your swing is over-tightness in the muscles, which happens when you tense up.

When your muscles tighten, your swing slows, you cannot connect to the feel of your swing, and your drives get shorter and shorter. This is why it is so important to master your mental game. Not only do you enjoy golf more, your drives become longer and more consistent.

Mental Golf practice is an important factor and is a must for anyone desiring more from his or her game. Mental golf is easy to achieve if you apply simple psychology steps. As golfers, we put so much pressure on ourselves to perform at 100% every time we play. You MUST master the mental golf game. Many people talk about working on their SHORT or LONG golf games, when they should be focusing on their MENTAL GOLF GAME. Converting emotion into confidence for a controlled mental game is the science behind the mental golf achievement.

Mental and emotional hazards can be played through a golf game, and, regardless of skill level, teeing off with a more positive and confident outlook will translate into better performance. Mental training is essential to good golf. The mental preparation for each round of golf is what separates the successful performers from those who simply “hope” they’ll play well. Mental toughness in golf is a mindset, not something you just get a quick fix on.

Golfers crave golf tips, and a mental tip is one that can really make a difference. Golfers are taught how to use their mind-body connection for consistency in their pre-shot routines, imagery skills for increased concentration and focus, goal setting, and affirmative action plans. Every day more and more golfers are becoming living proof that the key to a good game of golf is in the mind set. We do also know that most of the best golfers in the world employ “mental coaches” (otherwise known as sports psychologists) to help them with their game. Tiger Woods has used a mental golf coach since the age of 10. Most golfers spend hours on the range hitting hundreds of balls and still do not improve. Why is this so? These golfers need to be taught additional exercises for sharp focus and mental concentration which results in better shot making, lower scores, and more enjoyment to their game.

Any golfer can dramatically improve their scores through using mental training. When you need the edge over your competition or players in your foursome, reach for a good mental tip and your golf will improve. There is a psychology approach to avoiding blow up holes in your golf game, and you should really start to focus on it if you want to improve your game. You’ll see improvements in your focus for golf, putting under pressure, and playing within yourself during high pressure situations. If you can’t afford a real life coach, get mental golf products to help you. Just one mental golf tip can make a huge difference in your golf performance.

Point Of Use Water Heater

David B Lee asked:

Golf grip tips are very important, but unfortunately are overlooked by many golfers.Novice golfers in particular believe they can hold the club any way that feels comfortable to them and expect to drive the ball down the fairway, smack in the centre.WRONG!

It may or may not surprise you but over 90% of miss hits on the course are caused by a poor grip of the club.Hopefully it goes without saying but imagine if you could improve just this one area of your golf game.

Now all golfers are different,if any one particular individual on the course advices you on how to grip your club, chances are you will be no better off than you were before. No two golf grips are the same, regardless of what you may have been told.

To find your own natural grip style, you will simply want to stand up straight, with your arms and hands hanging down by your side, look down and see how many knuckles you see(strange i know). For a majority of golfers it will be two, however this is not set in stone as it can also be three.

For the next part of the analysis, grab one of your clubs,it doesn’t matter which one and take a grip on it….ok here is the twist remember how many knuckles were showing when your hands were hanging down?.make sure you have the same amount visible now.

When you can achieve this on a regular basis this will be your natural golf grip. Now i am not saying this will feel natural to you, especially if you are used to one particular grip action. For the purpose of this exercise you are trying to guarantee your grip is correct, this will ensure that your club is squared up at the moment of impact to keep your ball central in the fairway, rather than making the squirrels run for cover!.

Graco Paint Sprayer

Jack Moorehouse asked:

When weekend golfers watch the pros hit unbelievable shots their amazed. The typical reaction is often “How do they do that?” It’s not magic. It’s solid fundamentals, plus hours and hours of practice and constant attention to their swings. Or course, the fact that most of the pros have been honing their swings since they were kids doesn’t hurt either.

Weekend golfers can learn a lot by studying the pros. They just need to look closely. Below we describe some golf tips derived from watching various players over the years. These mini golf lessons may not help you hit the long, straight drives, towering long irons, and delicate wedge shots the pros do. But they will improve your swing and cut strokes from your golf handicap.

Power and Accuracy In The Swing

Chip Beck isn’t nearly as famous as Tiger Woods. But he is a respected member of the Tour. Beck’s known for his accuracy off the tee. It stems primarily from an on-plane swing. He swings his arm up the plane rather than around his body. That keeps the club moving toward the target, generating accuracy. If you were to draw a line from his hands to the ground when he’s in his finish position, it would point exactly where the ball was at address—a sign that he swung up the plane.

Mark O’Meara is known for his power. He generates it by making a complete shoulder turn at the top of his swing. A right-hander, he keeps his back pointing at the target as long as he can before committing to his downswing. Keeping his back facing the target allows his right elbow to stay close to his body, dropping the club inside. This starts his shots to the target’s right. When combined with the proper clubhead release, this swing draws the ball back to the left. It’s a good way to eliminate a slice.

Brad Faxon is known for his putting. But he also excels at getting off the tee. The secret to his swing’s success is in his right elbow. A right-hander, he keeps the elbow bent and close to his right hip as he approaches impact. This delivers the club to the ball from the inside, eliminating pulls, pull-slices, and pop ups. In addition, Faxon keeps his right shoulder markedly lower than his left before impact. That keeps his head behind the ball. It also produces more leverage, which in turn increases clubhead speed.

Tips On The Downswing

Vijay Sing is among the world’s best golfers. He’s also among the world’s highest money winners annually. His classic swing combines precision and accuracy. It includes a narrow downswing with the clubface close to his left shoulder. A wide follow-through with the club and arms launched from his shoulder sockets also contributes to his classic swing. To create this swing, he keeps his arm and hands relaxed. His legs and hips power the downswing as the club’s weight lags behind until impact. Once the club is released, his arms follow the club’s wieght into the finish. This creates a free flowing swing.

Although he’s small, Shigeki Maruyama generates enough power to play with the big boys. How does he do it? He does it with solid mechanics. Most notably, he keeps his hands high at the top of his backswing. High hands expand the swing arc and increase clubhead speed. Meanwhile, a massive shoulder turn allows him to keep his head behind the ball. It also allows him to shift his weight properly and sets up a more powerful and athletic downswing. To better rotate his hips, Maruyama flares his right toe out at address.

Watch the pros whenever you can. It’s like getting a free golf instruction session. So use the opportunity wisely.
David B Lee asked:

There are many golf driver tips online, but the one aspect that not many discuss is YOU the player. What do i mean by that?.Well the only thing that works long term is working on your personal golf fitness.Think about it for a moment,at present you own one fitness level, anything that requires more exertion cannot be achieved.

Regardless of how many golf balls you hit, or lessons you take.Remember one thing if you want to increase the distance to your drives you will need to excert yourself that bit more to reach that level. There are no quick fixes to improving your golf game,Now i am not saying that all products on the market are of poor quality, far from it, with the correct discipline and a long term view many of these training aids and books will improve your game tremendously, providing that you are prepared to put the necessary work in up front to improve your stamina and fitness.

Remember hitting the ball further than you do at present requires an increase in the clubhead speed.Period! To achieve this you must strengthen your core rotation and flexibility.Without doubt your core is the power behind every swing you take. When you consider what the potential behind a regular exercise routine will have on your game, why wouldn’t you improve this area first, rather than purchasing expensive lessons.

A quick exercise for you to implement now!

The benefits with this exercise is that you can do it at home. While sitting in your favourite chair, cross your arms in front of your chest, sit up tall and vertical. Now your head needs to be in a fixed position, rotate your body to the right and then left slowly(don’t over do it at first). If it’s painful it should be,this brings me back to the point i made earlier, extra effort equals extra power in your drive.

When your body feels like it is loosening up,speed up the process. If you have time i recommend doing this 20 to 30 times. The next time you are on that golf course you will feel better for your efforts.

Simply cross your arms in front of your chest. Now sit up tall and erect. Then keeping your head in a fixed position, rotate your body to the right and then left slowly. See how far you can go. As you feel a loosening of the core, increase the speed, rotating faster and faster. Do this at least 20 or 30 times when you get the opportunity and I guarantee you’ll feel better for it.

Painting Vinyl Siding
