Tom Houser asked:

Although beginner golfing can be very exciting and at the same time a rewarding activity, anybody can engage himself or herself, it is nonetheless difficult. However, it is packed with fun and excitement and is one great opportunity to mingle with other people and perhaps gather new friends.

However, starting on the sport can be difficult especially if you really do not have any idea on what to do. In as much as you want to engage yourself to this very interactive game, you want to be equipped first with the knowledge as well as skills to play the game and perhaps in the long run, skills to be a good golfer.

So how do you start with this type of game? Here are some beginner golfing tips:

invest in golfing equipment that will fit your style and ability – most beginners rush out to buy highly expensive clubs. Remember that you need not invest in expensive gear just for showing off. Golf is not a game of showing off but rather something that one should learn by heart. So, if you are just getting started on this sport it is better that you just borrow or rent some equipment. In this way you get to learn golf without much money taken out of your pocket.

The game itself is quite demanding and so for you not to end up in frustration, one should at least consider basic training. Learn the fundamentals and try to get it from not just anybody but be sure to have the help of a professional. It might also entice you to know that even the best golfer, Tiger Woods, still has coaches that teach them techniques. So, being best in golf does not end in learning and mastery of particular techniques but in mastering as many techniques as possible.

Get help from something else. Apart from getting help from professionals by having golf lessons, you can also learn a number of things from books and videos especially those that will help you learn the basics of golf: grip, stance, and posture.

Practice, practice, practice - this is one of the most important beginner golfing tips! Just like anything else, getting practice everyday will help you perfect your skill. So give time to practice those swings.

Philip Randall asked:

Golf Grip Tips, Get a Grip on it?

Growing up I lived near a Golf course. My family played Golf there. Golf grip tips were fundamental lessons that I took for granted. I hit the ball everywhere except where it was supposed to go. I made every mistake in Golf.  I landed in the rough. I was always off the Course and in the trees. I landed in the sand traps. I even landed in the lake. The worst part was I could not get out. I did not have any golf grip tips to help me. I needed Golf Lessons but I was ignorant.

Then I saw how professionals played Golf on Television. I got lucky, late at night the only thing you could watch was on TV was Golf.  The Professionals gave Golf grip tips and Golfing lessons free. I had that aha moment.  These Golf professionals were the original Golfing Greats. I learned Golf grip tips and all the best golf lessons, from Sam Snead, Arnold Palmer, Jack Nichlaus and the world’s best Golfers. My Golf game improved out of sight.

I held the club correctly. I addressed the ball correctly and my drive was Golf perfect.  I putted well. I played great chip shots. I could play my way out of any sand trap. My friends and fellow Golfers noticed how well I played. I kept improving and became an exceptional amateur Golfer. I exceeded my own expectations and my peers remarked; I was good enough to turn professional.

Jokingly, they said that I must be getting Golf grip tips and Golf lessons from very expensive professionals. Laughingly, I would reply that I was lucky enough to get Golf lessons from Sam Snead, Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus, the best in the game. My fellow golfers were very impressed.

Today, you can spare yourself the angst and embarrassment I and my Golf peers went through. Find out how you can get the Golf lessons you desire from professionals just like I did.
